It embeds no content from third parties: fonts are served from our own server, and there are no maps, videos or social media plugins. We only process personal data where it is technically necessary to deliver the website or where you contact us yourself.

Providing the website and hosting

When you visit this website, our server automatically processes data sent by your browser: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the address requested and your browser’s identifier.

This data is technically necessary to deliver the website to you and to keep the server secure and stable, for example to detect and fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not combine this data with any other data sources.

Until the final website launches, this preview is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on a server in Nuremberg. Hetzner processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). The server keeps no access logs for this website; data is only processed while the page is being delivered.

Encryption

Your connection to this website is encrypted with TLS, as shown by “https://” in your browser’s address bar. Data you send to us cannot be read by third parties in transit.

Storage in your browser

The website appears in the language your device prefers. Only if you switch the language yourself do we store that choice in your browser’s local storage (localStorage, key “sprache”, value “de” or “en”) so that it is kept for your next visit.

This setting stays on your device and is never sent to us. Storing it is strictly necessary to provide a function you have explicitly requested; the legal basis is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). You can delete the entry at any time in your browser settings.

Contact by email, phone and enquiry form

You can reach us by email or phone. The enquiry form on this website does not send any data to a server: it simply composes an email from your details and opens it in your own email program. It only reaches us once you send that email yourself.

We process the information we receive with your email or call in order to answer your enquiry. Where it relates to a possible contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract); otherwise it is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We delete your information once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Under German commercial and tax law (Section 257 HGB, Section 147 AO), commercial and business correspondence sent and received must be kept for six years and accounting vouchers for eight years.

Our mailbox is operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR) on servers in the EU.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

Right to object

Where we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then stop processing your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.

No obligation to provide data, no automated decisions

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide us with personal data. Without the technically necessary connection data, however, the website cannot be delivered, and without contact details we cannot answer your enquiry.

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).

Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when the website, our data processing or the law changes. The version published here applies; the date at the top shows when it was last updated.
